Mulranny Arts are honoured to present a one-woman show chronicling the life of Kate Kerrigan, a New York Times bestselling author who began her career as an editor for ‘Just Seventeen’ magazine (where she was credited for discovering the band Take That)

After spending her childhood in London in the 80s as the ‘Bombing Irish’ to some and a ‘Plastic Paddy’ to others, she moved to her parent’s native Ireland in the 90’s where she became a full-time author.

35 years on, with an Irish husband and children and a career as an Irish author, Kate brings the wisdom and wit of her award-winning writing to audiences in person, to whom she asks, ‘Am I Irish Yet?’.

A circus250 Production in the Daring Dames series - new writing by fierce women.

What people say about the show…

“The story stayed with me for days.”

“I’m not Irish but the themes Kate shared really resonated with me. Anyone who has faced the silent and sometimes hostile treatment of being different from the group will understand. A wonderful show.”

“A hilarious, relatable, phenomenal show.”

“Brillant. So well crafted, a most accomplished performer.”

Funnty, honest and poignant. The audience loved it.” - Mary Kenny, Columnist, Irish Independent
