Exploring Myth….

My intention to use this time as an Artist in Residence at Mulranny Arts to explore myth. I want to combine writing stories with creating images and sculptures of mythical creatures from my own imagination. But I will draw on the universal human experience of mythology. Ireland is rich with mythological stories and imagery and I want to tap into that creative stream to explore how myths help us understand both the real and the unknown.

I want to approach this subject with a sense of adventure, and explore the positive messages our shared human mythology can offer through my own interpretations and reimaginings.
