Class Description

Join artist Cheryl Cobern Browne for a creative and immersive two-day workshop exploring the art of circular mosaics. This hands-on experience invites you to design and create your own unique mosaic piece using a rich mix of materials including glass, organic elements, found objects, and more.

Working within the circular form — a shape often associated with wholeness, balance and continuity — participants will be guided through the full creative process, from concept and composition to cutting, placement and finishing techniques. Cheryl brings a thoughtful and intuitive approach to her teaching, encouraging experimentation, personal expression and connection to materials.

Whether you are a complete beginner or have some experience, this workshop offers a supportive environment to explore texture, colour and form, and to create a meaningful piece to take home ready for simple installation.
