Why not consider some deepening Winter rest experiences with Gong Yoga Nidra Workshops themed with the ‘Wheel of the Year’ offered by Joanna Moran.
Each workshop/session experience is complete in itself but also will work wonderfully together as we embrace this Winter season.
The three workshops embrace the seasonal energies and the natural time of year to rest and hibernate in the darkest time of the year. You will practice gentle breath work and Yoga to relax and open the body to welcome deep relaxation.
Joanna will then invite you to lie down in a supported Shivassana posture and then she will guide you through a Yoga Nidra practice with the support of Live Gong sounds to deepen and enhance the experience. Yoga Nidra is an accessible meditation practice that focuses on cultivating multiple levels of well being.
It is recommended that you bring warm socks, layers and a blanket as body temperatures drop as you relax more deeply. Please also bring support cushions for your head and under your knees.
Allow two hours for the class. A cup of warm herbal tea and a healthy sweet treat is served to ground you before you leave.
