Class Description

If you are creative, love making jewellery and have always wanted to design something using silver or alloy metals then this new course could be the perfect Valentines gift to yourself or a loved one.

Join us for the first of our Metalsmithing Workshops, led by Rachel Mathews-McKay, a Dublin based Craftivist and Metalsmith artist.

Learn the foundations of cutting (piercing), shaping, soldering and adding texture to silver and alloy metals. Turn a flat piece of metal into a wearable work of art.

Who is this class for?

Great for beginners, and experienced ‘smiths are welcome too! You’ll get to explore a range of techniques from this ancient craft while bringing your own design ideas to life.
