Workshop Overview
Let’s explore materials, techniques and creativity!
In this workshop we will create with polymer clay and epoxy clay, incorporating embellishments of beads, glass, stone and found objects into a mosaic assemblage piece. The emphasis is on creativity, design, imagination and learning how to get into creative flow so that the end result is exciting and rewarding.
No prior experience necessary.
All techniques are easy to learn.

About Christi
Christi Friesen is an award-winning artist, specialising in sculptural polymer & epoxy clays embellished with mixed media – gems, pearls, beads, fiber, found objects, artifacts & metal. Her work expresses joy and exuberance and her themes center around the natural and the organic with forays into whimsy.
Her work has been showcased in numerous books and magazines as well as being featured in juried shows and exhibits.
In addition, Christi has written twelve how-to books on creating with polymer Clay and mixed media.
She teaches her unique style, using humor and positive energy to encourage students to stretch their creativity, technical skills and artistic confidence.
Christi says about her work, “I am an artist because I must be. My mind wander and my fingers follow.”
