SYZYGY - Meaning bringing things together.

Most of us have necklaces we no longer wear for one reason or the other, but we are reluctant to part with. Here is an opportunity for you to restring them into a new length, to redesign or repair them if needed.   Bring your broken bits, charity shop collections, or favourite jewellery items that you are willing to take part and turn into something refreshed and renewed.

Find suitable components and complimentary beads from buckets of stash in the studio and leave after 2 hours with something you can proudly wear!

In addition you will will learn how to design a necklace with suitable stringing material, attach a clasp or other method of closure for a length and design that suits your face and body type.

You will also learn simple wirework techniques to secure earrings and attach pendants, all useful skills to have to make or repair your own jewellery in the future.

To refresh and recycle is a satisfying way to spend an afternoon, enjoy a cup of tea and ride the creative wave.
