Pocket of Scraps

€36.00

In this wonderful workshop Roxanne will guide you in the creation of your own “Pocket of Scraps.”

First you will have the task of finding and cutting out a pocket from and old pair of pants. Next you will stitch and will cover the front of the pocket with lovely fabric fragments, (and maybe some paper scraps too), all the while thinking of what story each scrap or fragment is telling you. Roxanne will ask you to chose a variety of textures, colors and fabrics you love, so that each small piece of this project has a special meaning.

The second half of this workshop will be creating our scraps by covering small pieces of watercolor paper with other papers and fabrics and anything that is interesting to you. These scraps will be small enough to fit into your pocket, and sturdy enough to pull in and out from their beautifully embellished Pocket of Scraps!

As well as the beautifully filmed videos for Pocket of Scraps, there is also a wonderful bonus video which is like a class on its own!
